I just wanted to thank you for all that you’ve taught me.    And although, some of your bits of wisdom were hard to take (I’m thinking of the print price increase you suggested, and me thinking there is NO WAY people will pay that) I’m thankful I listened.

All this coming on the heels of my first BIG sell, my biggest yet!   Most of my print sells have been in the $500 range.  I dont mean to sound ungrateful about making $500 at each print ordering appointment, but I always wanted my print orders to more in the 900-1000 range.  :)  I am happy to tell you that I just had a client place a $1300 order!!!!    I just want to shout it out on my rooftop!    I cant put it on facebook because my client (who is a fan of my fan page) would see it.

Tiffany Hix.  She is one of the most intelligent, and talented photographers I have ever met.  When Tiffany and I got together to work on the business side of things, I was simply shocked by all of the information I received and mortified by the information she shared that I had NO IDEA I needed to know in order to price myself for profit.  I am not business minded at all, and well, Tiffany is.  Her approach is honest, as numbers do not lie.  She went through it step by step, and no question was pushed aside or not answered.  Pricing is so emotional.  We are actually placing a value on our worth and that is frightening for a creative.  She helps put our fears in perspective while being realistic.  For me that is what I needed.  I spent oodles of money on pricing information from other photographers who give you a basic guide line, but none of them went as in depth as Tiffany does.  I whole heartedly recommend hiring Tiffany for her fresh and honest perspective.
