Capture the precious sweetness that your newborn possess.
Those first few days of your new baby’s life are so fleeting and precious. That baby soft skin, the fine little hair on their shoulders, and sweet little toes. Capture the precious sweetness that your newborn possess.
What is the best time to photograph my newborn?
Newborns are best photographed between 3 to 14 days with the optimum being 5 or 6 days old. The first week of life is certainly not too soon for portraits and is preferred. Babies older than 2 weeks may still be photographed but will be more alert and may not curl up as easily.
When should I schedule a session for my newborn?
It is best to call before you baby arrives to assure there is space available on Tiffany’s schedule. A tentative date will be set based on your due date and a final date and time will be confirmed once your little one arrives.
Do we come to your studio?
You can if you’d like! Tiffany has a space available for photographing newborns in her home and has a large selection of props and backdrops.
Can you come to our house?
Yes! Tiffany also enjoys photographing newborns in their homes, especially if mom and dad have put a lot of love and time in to creating a special nursery. Tiffany will bring a couple of backdrops and props along.
What should we do to prepare for the newborn session?
Tiffany will send you information to help you prepare for your session and discuss with you in detail the best ways to prepare for your session.

How long will the session last?
Sessions are specific to the needs of the baby, but typically newborn sessions last about 2 hours. Some newborns need a little extra time and sessions have lasted up to 3 hours. Newborn sessions are relaxed and plenty of time is available for feeding, snuggling and diaper changes.
If you have additional questions about newborn sessions, please give Tiffany a call or send an email.
